'Diversity partner' signed for Netball World Cup
Australia Post has signed as official Diversity and Community Inclusion Partner for the Netball world Cup.
Australia Post will be providing an opportunity for community and school groups new to netball to experience matches with complimentary legacy ticketing at the second competition venue, Netball Central.
This partnership is an extension of Australia's Post One Netball programme which encourages the netball community to create more inclusive and welcoming netball communities across the nation.
The World Cup will be held in Sydney Olympic Park in August with16 nations competing, says NWC2015 Chief Executive Marne Fechner.
• Australia Post will help deliver Netball Australia's One Netball programme into new communities around the country following the launch of a new partnership signed earlier this year.
The partnership will deliver targeted education and awareness programmes, as well as come-and-try clinics, to provide opportunities for individuals and communities to experience the sport.
One Netball will implement a variety of initiatives from the grass roots to national level, from the club house to the Australia Netball Diamonds, to make the game of netball more.
