‘Sports’ catalogues win awards

Top award in the  best retail catalogue for the up to 1.5 million category was Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski, presented at Friday’s Australian Catalogue Awards in Melbourne.

Paddy Pallin won the environmental and sustainability category award.

Other winners included Myer, Kmart and Super Cheap Auto.

Australian Catalogue Association’s Ken Bishop says catalogues “encourage people to go to a store, and with the growth of digital consumers, they are driving people online either to do some research or make a purchase.

“Catalogues are best used as part of the multi-channel offering, alongside traditional advertising or digital advertising,” he says.
