Ambassador Benji fronts Footy Rocks

NRL face Benji Marshall will host the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia’s  first annual Footy Rocks, a night of sporting legends, food and music.

As the Institute’s new ambassador and face of the Benji Marshall Foundation, Marshall will be raising much needed funds for childhood cancer research.

Players from the Waratahs, the Roosters, the Sydney Football Club and the West Tigers will also participate in the early March bash.

Footy Rocks aims to raise more than $250,000 for medical research at the institute to help save the lives of kids with cancer.

“This new funding will go directly towards the drug discovery of new, targeted cancer therapeutics for young kids with cancer,” says institute executive director Professor Michelle Haber.
