ANZLA names next conference city

The Australian and New Zealand Law Association has chosen Sydney for its 2017 conference, to be held in mid-October.

The Shangri-La Hotel will host the event which will include a range of social activities including a discounted bridge climb.

The two-day conference will include a range of issues, including the implications of privacy law in sport; ethical obligations for sports lawyers; the future of broadcasting - sports television, smart phones and social media; concussion in sport - society changing legal implications; and the evolution of IP usage by brands in the digital age
