ASGA’s Cary moves on
Published: March 16, 2010Executive Director of the Australian Sporting Goods Association Sean Cary has announced his resignation after more than five years at the helm.
He will leave the role on April 8, joining Cricket Australia as Umpire Manager later in the month.
Cary took up his ASGA position in October 2004, from a role as membership manager with Carlton Football Club.
Past experience includes working with the WACA and playing football and cricket for WA.
The ASGA board next meets on Friday March 19 when recruitment of a new executive director will be on the agenda, reports Cary.
President of the board is lawyer Ian Fullager from Melbourne law firm Lander & Rogers.
