Basketball gets new broadcast start

Basketball Australia has signed a new deal with Network Ten and its digital sports channel ONE to broadcast the NBL.

The live coverage will start with two NBL games a week on Ten or One in the coming season and rise to five games per round in the final year of the five year contract.

Basketball Australia chief and former star, Larry Sengstock says that the broadcast deal will provide important funding for the NBL and be attractive to sponsors.
