Big numbers for rugby world cup?

More than 30,000 Australians are expected in New Zealand for the rugby world cup next month, report organisers who are happy with the rapid rise in ticket sales in the past few weeks.

More than 95,000 visitors from 100 countries are expected – 25,000 from the UK and 10,000 from France — and ticket sales are expected to rise during the cup as “the event becomes more tangible for fans, says organising committee chief executive Martin Snedden.
