Demon fan‘s oriental trip

Keen golfer Henry Otto was forced to pass up the Victorian trade golf day in mid-October, as he was enjoying a fortnight in China and Hong Kong with the Melbourne Football Club.

The AFL club played an exhibition match against the Brisbane Lions in Shanghai during the expo and Henry Otto with wife Helen were among the 120 players, support staff and administration team who added their cheers to the event.

Otto, who is Asics Victoria and Tasmanian sales manager, and a corporate sponsor, reports that the trip included an eco resort among the bamboo groves, Shanghai’s modern chaos, Beijing with its imperial past and a camping trip on the Great Wall, plus a few days in Hong Kong before heading home to Melbourne.

Asics also has individual footwear contracts with some Demons players.
