Gold Coast pulls in record racers

More than 27,000 participants took part across eight races forming the Gold Coast marathon yesterday.

These included the man's and women's marathons, with 6700 runners, the ASICS half marathon, a fun run and runs for kids sponsored by Garmin, plus the wheelchair marathon for men and women.
